We get up early though it is tough. We work though we are tired. We speak in public even it is scary. We pray, we eat, read the Bible, sing, jump, walk, and run, run, run for God. We are
CV Run for God run club!

How It Started.

In January of 2022, I signed up to run marathon races. I have never ran for   anything. I felt it was time. God put it in my heart to not just join any but a Christian run club that kept popping up on my Facebook feed, Run for God. So I did! Every run I did following the training plan, first for 5K, then 10K, Half and marathon, I shared with my students. I wanted to inspire them that "I didn't know I had it in me." Soon, they wanted to break my mile time trial record. They were amazed by how fast my time changed. My first time was at 14:21 in April then it went down to 10:34. After my first 5K on April 9, 2021 in Dalton, Georgia, my students convinced me to start a club. ASB allowed us to elect officers, but we had to wait for school year 2022 to be an official club. From 2o students was elected the officers. This number grew to 89 students in 2022 and now at 120 members in 2023. I am grateful to all the officers and members who work in every opportunity to serve our community. Many people run away from things and yes, even from God. We run for God!

Thank you all, for your hard work and dedication. We shine our light into this world because someone may just need that, God's light and hope.
